I had a LSU stadium cake made for my wedding at Thurman's Bakery in Monroe. It was only $400. It was awesome. I would post a picture of it but all the image hosting sites are block here at work. If you will give me your email address I will send you a picture of it.

Thanks, I would appreciate it. My email address is nbb003@latech.edu

My grooms cake was of LSU tailgating. I thought it was pretty cool and something I haven't scene otherwise. Also was pretty cheap.

That stadium cake looks really good...but I bet it cost $1000- does anyone know the cost or who made that cake?

That is the cake I'm getting for my wedding, it's made by Two Sweet Sisters in St. Martinville and is a little over $1,000.

Looking for a picture of a LSU groom's cake (preferably Death Valley, but I am open to other possibilities). I have tried google but was not satisfied with the results. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Not worth it man. It costs a ton and it won't turn out like you want it.

Here is an easy suggestion...just do the football field itself and not the stadium. I think Swiss did mine (including the eye of the tiger in the middle of the field and the endzones painted) and it came out good and didn't cost an arm and a leg.

Somebody posted the link earlier, but they are really good. I didn't get the TS cake, but I remember it being about $400.

I got mine from sweet impressions. I think it was about $450. Here's the pic.

I disagree. It was only around $450, and it came out very good, very detailed. We were introduced at the reception to the fight song, of course. And the only negative thing about the cake was that nobody wanted to ruin it by cutting into it.

SouthEndzoneTiger is right, those cakes are cool.

Plus it's probably the only thing you will have a say in about the wedding.

You got that right! Well, that and our entrance song, the fight song. She let me pick our first dance song too. But that's it.

Thanks, I thought so too. And you may not believe this, but the picture is NOT as good as what they brought me. Mine was extremely detailed, split south endzone, etc. And, they let me pick the opponent and score that I wanted on the scoreboard.
