I'm sure the same people that think this will be an easy win thought we'd crush Wisconsin in front of a partial crowd in Houston.

Wisconsin is a good program and playing on the road in front of their partial crowd won't be easy. I'm very surprised by the spread.

Not surprising, we are better and more talented across the board IMHO.

I don't think the game will ever be in doubt and we will pull away late in the game. I believe the players as well as the coaches are out to make a statement this year. Les hung on to his job by the skin of his teeth. All eyes on LSU this year and I believe this will be a statement game right out of the gate. LSU big in this one! Just too much talent and drive to prove the doubters wrong.

So how do we regroup after this 0-1 start?

This can be said by just about any team that faces Wisconsin. Fact is, however, Wisconsin is a very-disciplined program. Though I would be shocked if they win, I do think this game will be close going into the fourth quarter.

The Badgers are loaded with kids from the state that grew up cheering for the Packers. This may be their only chance to play in Lambeau. It will be special.

ETA: since it has been a couple years, did want to remind you all of different Wisconsin message boards: Buckyville, The Camp (247), BadgerNation (Scout).

Yeah -10 seems high, especially with this game being a virtual road game.

Expect this number to fall.

Usc was probably thinking the exact same thing about the talent difference. And Auburn in the previous bowl. It's just how it is.

I expect Wisconsin to play tough. The players will take pride in the State and also know the level of competition is going to be high in this opener.

Just like last year playing Alabama, except we get more of a home field advantage.

This Badger O line will be much improved. They hold they key to making this matchup close. Aranda will have the talent to lock us down and bring various pressures...but if we can run right at the Tiger D, that neutralizes that advantage somewhat.

LSU beat us in the previous matchup. We had them on the ropes and let Miles fake punt themselves back into it. Alabama was a tight game for a half and then our lack of safety play up the middle killed us for a quarter.

Safety is still a concern along with a new QB for Bucky.

Put this game in Camp Randall and give us Aranda back and I am picking Wisconsin. But since you bought him out and we gave you so many tix for Lambeau...I can't confidently envision a win.

We should be favored in EVERY game we play! Too much talent and experience not to be!

This is the only thing that I dislike about the series. Don't get me wrong, it's great for the players to be able to play in an NFL stadium, especially one as legendary as Lambeau Field. That said, LSU and Wisconsin have maybe the 2 best game day environments in CFB. It would have been great for both sets of fans to experience "the other's side."

How upset are you about this? You've posted before about the ticket allocation.

Wisconsin is a solid program despite the lack of NFL type talent that'll fight to the end. I suspect this one is closer going into the 4th than most suspect but our depth will win out. They are going to rely on Clement and ground and pound to run the clock and keep it within striking distance late. I think it's 17-14 headed into 4th quarter then we pull away winning 31-17.
