Lsu basketball season - success

it is a success for me. getting into tourney is success for me this year.

improvement each season is a reasonable expectation for LSU basketball, so I think it's okay to be happy with the big picture in year 3. I'd like this team to at worst give NC State a hell of a game though

"The 5 Tiers of Success" :
My def of "Tier One" success :
- Win 20+ games , and make the NC twice A Toon-a-ment
Tier 2 success:
Win 20+ games , finish 2 or 3 in SEC reg season , make it to SECT final, get to NCAAs, win a game
Tier 3 :
Win SEC reg season , make run in NCAAT , get to sweet 16 /Elite 8
Tier 4 :
Get to Final 4 in NCAAT ( dont need to win SEC or any other damn thing )
Tier 5 :
well , we all know what dat is , yassir !
This year , Im going with Tier 1 more n' likely , maybe 2nd round in NCAAs , maybe.

Congratulations to LSU Men's Basketball team for making NCAA tournament. It has been a long time since LSU had 2 1st team all-SEC performers (Mickey and Martin) and they were both deserving. The supporting cast of guards and forward and platoon players are commendable and when EVERYONE is playing well (see Kentucky, Ark., W. Virginia) this "team" can beat anyone! It's also been fun watching everyone (esp. Hornsby) develop from good to borderline great players at times. NOW is the time to work on some consistency (you think?). Here's wishing you well!

Tigers done good. Very happy with this season inspite of all the frustration.
