Tampa has the 2nd lowest payroll in baseball. They have had to let some good players walk recently because they dont want to pay them.
they arent going to give him a blank check. Couple that with them having 10 picks in the first 60, with 2 being OF's that have already signed. Mahtook is a luxury at this point. If the Mahtooks dont like what they see, the Rays arent going to budge much
