LSU sent an internal email forewarning employees there will be an announcement later today.
Be prepared for some of you to be angry as my sauces say it is likely Tate. We will see

I've already drafted my letter to the alumni association stating why I was ceasing affiliation/donations in case that is the case.

A few of my friends met him during the hiring process. They said he was pretty impressive and seems to be someone who won't tolerate BS. It's a dicey choice especially given the public rancor about him

I’ve actually listened to a lot of the public zoom calls the candidates have been involved in and Tate comes off really well and has made zero mention of your CRT boogeyman.
Example: He’s the only candidate who mentioned and has a plan to address high achieving Louisiana kids being offered boatloads of money by other SEC schools but LSU not being able to match.
