As an LSU fan, what would you consider "program success" for the next 5 years?

Atleast 1 championship and 2 playoff appearances

Anything less is going to be disappointing

1 natty.

That's enough for me and I think that cements Miles as the best coach in LSU history.

I agree, however, if we make the playoffs 3 of the next 5 years w/o a natty, I wouldn't say that's failure.

Ill be pretty dissapointed if we dont make 2 playoff appearences. And once we make the playoffs, ill put my money on us to win, especially if we are the only sec team in the playoffs

To the people predicting multiple playoff appearances over the next 4-5 years: Does that mean you think we'll win the SEC Championship in each instance? Or do you foresee two SEC teams making the field?

Considering LSU has only finished in the top 4 one time in the last 6 years, I would consider us lucky to make the playoffs in the next 5.

Yeah. I think two playoff appearances per decade is a reasonable benchmark given what you have to wade through in the SEC.

Keep doing what we are doing.

We will get at least 2 Championships in the next 5. At least!!

Keep Cameron and Chavis in place, and we are a threat every year.

I'll say 1 sec champ and 1 at large playoff birth for my answer of 2 playoff births.

2 playoff births. The playoff system was designed to discourage an SEC team from being national champions every year. IMO only the SEC champion will ever get a playoff spot. Not to say we can't do better than 2 playoff appearences, just the BCS was kinder to the SEC.

You must live a miserable life, all you do is complain about LSU. Your post history is nothing but negativity and discrediting Les Miles and the Tiger football team

I agree. The committee claims that strength of schedule will be an important consideration. I'm not convinced that they, individually, will weigh it equally in their votes. I think their human nature to "spread the wealth" will hurt a 2nd SEC team.
