No doubt Les Miles deserves blame for ill-advised gambles, but also deserves credit for gameplan that put them in position to win.

Though the current system has worked, the new playoff system will really work and piss off the rest of the country due to it being an sec matchup in most years.

Somehow, after all the preseason hype and the early #1 rankings and all, I find this "top 2 loss team" thing to be far less than gratifying.

After losing how many projected starters? How many teams can lose their starting RB, starting LB, starting CB and 3/5 of their OL starters and still manage to be where LSU is today?

It's going to be Alabama - ND because that's what espn wants. It'll take some gerrymandering to get it there, but tv owns cfb now

Need usc, stanford, nebraska, ucla all to lose again. Oregon should take of 3 of these.

Latech would then be highest non aq bcs school ranked 16 or higher and ahead of B1G champ nebraska so latech gets automatic BCS bid.

Not to mention lsu is #7 and top 6 teams get bid to bcs game after tie ins filled.

Lsu vs latech in sugar bowl.
