Pro Ga. article, I like how the guy says SEC rival LSU, not SEC champion LSU, still implying that Ga. was robbed last season.

UGA takes top spot from Buckeyes by ONE VOTE!

LSU a distant 7 after Missou.

WV and Clemson nipping at our heels.

Great spot for the team to be in. Should move up over the first three weeks of the season, especially after 9/13.

perhaps he knew that in the next sentence he would point out that LSU won the national championship...

Georgia finished last season 11-2 and No. 2 in the country behind Southeastern Conference rival LSU. The Tigers won the national championship in the Superdome in New Orleans on Jan. 7 by beating the Buckeyes.

Pro-LSU interpretation. The implication you see is an invention of your mind, a long reach -- and doesn't exist in the sentence you cite.

But of course it's a pro-Georgia article. Georgia is No. 1.

The AP poll should still be TBA. Georgia is number 1 now, but who knows how many more players will get hurt or arrested. I'm saying at least 2. Do I hear anyone for 3...?

Anything with Georgia in the Top 10 is a pro-Georgia article.

I'm a little surprised that injuries and other issues didn't cause GA to be knocked down a notch or two by the writers

we'd beat #6 mizzou by double digit if we'd ever get to see them

Just because they return their starting QB and media darling. You would think that he played for USC the way the media covers him.

I like our starting point as well. It looks like we have 3 outstanding games to climb the ladder an improve our rankings if we take care of business with AU, UGA and UF.
Prior to our games, UGA will have to beat ASU, USC(E) and UT.
UF will have to beat UT, Ole Miss and a one loss AU.
If the rankings are right and we win those three games without a lapse somewhere along the way there is no way we don't go the distance.

Hmm, USC and us flip flopped, compared to the coaches poll.
