Painful loss. We were neck and neck with them by stringing together pitching all night. I thought Guidry would be a reliable arm to bring in at that point, but two walks and a HR says otherwise. Taking Game 1 would have changed the whole trajectory of this series and SEC season to this point.

You can never really trust a WM Rebel (unless you’re Tommy Banks).

Strike 3 in that AB was unhittable. Slider in the other batter’s box. You'd rather guys stay disciplined than start going after pitches like that.

I vote Kling back to lead off. Apparently anyone Jay puts there will not hit. It might as well be someone that can field. Our leadoff/DH position today yielded 0-5 with 4 Ks.

And Hurd.

The problem is this was a winnable game.

I am souring on Guidry. Hope he proves me wrong.

Still regret Shores got hurt like he did.

They don't respect our lineup. Arkansas is pretty deep pitching, I hate to say that but it's true.

Exactly. Imagine having a win against Smith having only used 3 pitchers. Your best strike throwers in Holman and Ack being used and still a ton of arms ready to go for games 2 and 3.

Guidry's job is to pitch backwards. He will never be truly effective if he can't use his fastball effectively. He throws a flat low 90s fastball over the plate way too much.

Thanks Cheer and JML
Johnny whole staff kept it close even with that BIAS BLIND a-hole ZEBRA behind home plate till the 3 run shot in the 8th.
If R U saw is really the number 1 team in the country and burned their ace and #1 reliver I feel confident we win and even the series tomorrow.

Thanks Cheer. Great work. The team is close. A squeeze here and there and eventually the dam breaks.

Everyone will be surprised season’s end with better hitting and relief pitching.

The SEC wants eyes on all its baseball league and sometimes the umps reflect that philosophy.

As soon as LSU departs from conference umps, the team will look considerably different.

Just got to finish strong and put some SEC wins on the board. No need to panic.

I always thought he was out for this season. Maybe a chance if we are in postseason for him?

CJJ got shite on by the ump.
No respect; that was horrible, might have money on the game.

guidry has better mental make up than stuff

he had 1 good pitch and a weak fastball but he’s absolutely a gamer.

idk what his ceiling is. gotta put on weight, velo and add another pitch
