The design looks like it from the 70s or 80s - something I do not prefer - not making great use of space (i.e. see the railings on the front, for a walkway that is not raised).

It is not that hard to make a building blend with the others on a campus that have been there for years and still have a modern and efficient design.

Not saying its not needed to compete recruiting wise. But my first thought was....at the site of the old Alex Box? Hell there goes even more football parking

So now there's going to be even less parking after they take away the old Alex Box parking lot?

I was curious who would be the first pussy to bitch about this.

Congrats

Thank God it's not that modern design bullshite. Our campus is too nice for that.

Athletes sure do get special treatment. I guess if I had brought in millions of dollars for the school I could've learned how to cook too.

Unless you have a RV, it shouldn't matter to you.

Why? Cars with parking passes use that lot during games. I've parked there.

I agree, can't wait till it's all built. The whole area will look totally different in a few years

Lord knows it's needed. Every school needs a strip right off campus, IMO.

I agree. I hope they go with a design that has a unique 'downtown feel' rather than that of a generic strip mall. If they stick with the initial designs in the presentation it should be nice.

My Hope (Dickson Street in Fayetteville)

3 more finals and I'll be free for a few weeks. First stop is likely to be Bogie's.
