That is why Robert Smith and the others are pushing Stanford and Wisconsin and others ahead of LSU, because this keeps LSU from passing Boise in the BCS, and that takes some of the suspense as to whether Boise can make the big game. If LSU passes BCS in the BCS and wins out, LSU will stay ahead of Boise.

LSUMatt, if you read this, I would be iterested in your algorithm results if LSU and Wisconsin were swapped in the Harris/Coaches poll, and if that would have allowed LSU to vault ahead of Boise this week already to 4th.

The ESPN LSU haters club know what they are doing with all the Standford and Wisconsin "best one loss team" politicking

Herbie and Robert Smith are the leaders of this club, but they have numerous members in their club.

BCS rankings:
1 Oregon .9753
2 Auburn .9687
3 TCU .8966
4 Boise State .8634
5 LSU .8243

Harris Poll:
1 Oregon (65) 10-0 2788 1
2 Auburn (35) 11-0 2733 2
3 Boise State (11) 9-0 2591 4
4 TCU (3) 11-0 2583 3
5 Wisconsin 9-1 2268 5
6 LSU 9-1 2241 6

That is pretty damn close

TCU's score will likely drop as their computer score does.

LSU's will go up as their computer score does.

If LSU was getting Wisconsin's points in the 2 polls it would be:

1 Oregon .9753
2 Auburn .9687
3 TCU .8966
4 Boise .8634
5 LSU .8324 (.8243)

Still not enough

if LSU beats ole miss and bama, they'll be in that #4 spot at minimum guaranteed.

A Wisconsin loss this week to Michigan would do wonders for LSU. To the poster that said .039 is not close at all, you are incorrect my friend. LSU was 0.049 after last week. Our human votes will only go up after the next two victories. (We should be Ole Miss but Arkansas is going to be close.) Both of these games will be on CBS. We need to demolish Ole Miss on the national stage.

Our difference (.039) is insurmountable but yet it's a lock that Boise is going to make up their's. (.033)Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.I have no real hopes of getting to the MNC game but if Boise is pretty much a lock to pass TCU then it's absolutely possible for us to pass Boise or TCU depending who's 4th.We just need to win our games and let the rst take care of itself. The voters aren't going to let us play in the title game unless chaos happens. Then they'd have no choice.

Wait a second here, this is foolish talk. I thought LSU's offense sucks and we should fire Crowton immediately?
