It'll be a somewhat close game no matter what...because Les Miles. Even if we could beat them 72-10 we wouldn't. I'll be happy with a win of any margin.

It does literally nothing to how I feel about the game.

Not comparing the teams, but I remember how confident we were going in to the UNC game years ago, especially after all those players got kicked off the team. Keeping it tempered.

That's why I didn't like all the Lambeau Leap talk from our players. I know they're just having fun, but bulletin board material.

I like the idea that the betting public and Vegas are suggesting the talent differential is too much for Wisky to overcome but I'm nervous that we are setup to fall short of expectations.

Their QB wouldn't start at any sec team and our talent is so much better. We also have much more experience and better coaches

Every position group of ours is better than theirs

Based on this, perhaps they should not even play the game? Clearly this will be a major blowout.

Wisconsin is an unranked team. LSU is 5th. There is a huge talent gap between teams. I am not nervous at all, this is going to be a laugher.

Pre season polls mean absolutely nothing. I don't see how so many here think this game will be a blow out considering just how anemic our passing game has been. I'll change my point of view when I see teams stop daring us to beat them with the pass. I'm not advocating a pass happy offense either, I just would like to see some throws that aren't 40 yard bombs down the sideline every now and then you know. Is that too much to ask for?

Vegas gets its wrong sometimes too. I wouldn't touch that line with a 10 foot pole.

How can anyone that has watched a CLM coached lsu team be so confident? I think we win but I am not confident we win easy

An LSU blowout represents a large portion of the probabilistic curve.

I got many downvotes for saying we won't win by what we should. I expect to win...but we won't hurt anyones feelings.

I think LSU has something to prove. Since 2011, LSU has got to No. 2 in the nation multiple times by an arbitrary way. I think it is not in the realm of possibility this is a blowout. I pegged 41-17 and sticking to it.

The Miles apologists can't handle the truth...the truth is we rarely handle teams that we out talent like we should. We rarely lose but we usually make it harder than it should be.

Agreed. The strength of their Wisky defense is their front seven. They are vulnerable in the secondary, which we struggle to exploit.

Meanwhile, their strength will be running the ball which we haven't done well at stopping lately.

We do have superior athletes at every position group and we may win but the matchups of strengths/weaknesses here makes this a closer game than we want.

also 1st game. They seem to be very good fundamentally and probably won't hurt themselves. Since it is 1st game they will be healthy and motivated playing in their home state.
