I mean we were knocking on the door with an ability to score and win the game

The third down came and there was like nobody cheering

Saban looked like he was 100 years old

Alabama looked sluggish too

It was all a very bizarre sight to see

I thought the stadium was pretty quiet, but ESPN had the crowd mic muted. Didn’t know that until after the game. There were apparently some let’s go Brandon chants going on, so woke ESPN can’t allow Lord Biden to be talked bad about on national television

Were you there or watching on TV?

I saw a thread earlier suggesting crowd noise was either not played loudly and/or was cut off by piped in music to discourage certain popular political chants.

Their fans are spoiled. Much in the same way to LSU fans who can't be bothered to invest themselves in a close game against a perceived inferior opponent. But it's a different level at Bryant Denny given their success. Very white washed corporate environment and they're not happy unless it's 50-3.

I was there.

They played soooo much piped in music, and it was LOUD. Pretty much covered up the crowd noise.

Also, they were more worried about shaking their dang pom poms. Told a couple people around me, “y’all could be a lot louder if you clapped.” Response, “eh, never thought of that!” Lol…

The fact Bama fans were melting over a win was worth it.

Great job by those who decided to play and get dirty. I believe they would have had the W had they not turned into a MASH unit.

Shame on ESPN for not bringing the real crowd to the watching audience.

Let's go Brandon.

No we didn’t. They whipped our asses all game long until we mounted a nice comeback. At the end of the day the stats were close with Bama having the best of them. The team that had the better game definitely won.

but bama is melting as if they did. Pathetic showing for the tide last night. Barely beating second and third stringers

I thought it was an electric atmosphere from start to finish. Bama fans were engaged the entire time. Our team even fed off the music and the on/off light show. Crowd did get quiet after the Lewis sack fumble when momentum flipped and we had a chance to take the lead.

I wish Tiger Stadium would implement a similar model. Lsu players and student section hype would surpass Bama’s

Right. They wanted revenge for RTWFU and they didn’t get that.

"Whipped our asses all game long"? A grand total of 6 yards rushing. First time in 34 + games they did not score a double digit win. Held them to only 20 points, first time in 20 games they did not score 40+ points. Held them scoreless in 2 out of 4 quarters. First time in 100 games they did not score in the first quarter. Absent that cheap score in the last minute before half, game is tied at half AND we win at least 14-13, at least 1 FG & the score is 17-13. Starting QB, out. Starting 2 WR, out. Starting OLman, out. Second RB, a walk on. Starting TE, a walk on. Hate Coach O all you want but this team played its arse off yesterday & doesn't deserve such a shitty comment.
