Peolpe is the cockney sounding term for the innards of a orange after it is squeezed.

I won't mention a name, but a local sports talk radio host told me a month before it happened that when, not if, JJ was reinstated on the team within a couple of games he would be the starter and JL would not see the field again for any significant snaps and that's exactly what happened.

Didn't watch the season, did you.

JJ was reinstated the last week of Sept. and started 11-12...seems a tad more than a couple games to me.

Seems like to me that if JL doesn't struggle vs Bama, there is nothing to say he doesn't remain the starter all season.

I know that flies in the face of the "JJ is Miles boy" agenda guys, but JJ didn't start VS Kent or Fla or Tenn or Aub or Bama did he?

I guess Bama messed up the season for both our SR QBs.

Hopelly, Mett will make them pay dearly come 11-3.

Because bashing the coach over something you can't change during a great season would be very productive. You and TheDoc really have some weird irrational vendetta towards the lsu football program.

miles was "looking" for a reason to bench Jlee.... had Jlee not started after jj would have been reinstated up until after the 1st bama game, riots would have insued...the guy was playing that good, and evidence of JJ having naked pictures of miles riding a donkey on bourbon street would have been stronger...would definately been grounds for immediate termination for reason of insanity...

I really don't care if some butthurt lee fans don't like me. But if you want to continue to talk irrational shite about other players and coaches you will get called out by people.

But if you want to put one player above the program, just please continue. It's humorous.

Miles coddling him (confidence wise) has been my guess all along, as to why he never even thought about giving him real PT...let alone start him.
Did everything possible to prevent a potential mental midget situation.

That coupled with his enormous love of The JJ...Mett would have needed to look like a Brady-Cam hybrid.

There you go lying about what I post again. You have to be thinking of someone else but it is pretty sad that you can't handle getting called out for being a rantard.

Speaking of delusional, this whole paragraph of run on sentences, hyperbole and lies you just typed out is the definition of delusion.

still baffled that lee was benched for throwing 2 int's in one game.

benched for the remainder of the season for 2 INT's, 3 total on the year.

baffles me.

bullshite

JJ came back vs KY during the 2nd series. 2 games later, with LSU only up by 10 pts, JJ starts the 2nd half vs Tenn. Everyone saw the handwriting on the wall at that point. Lee said he saw it, and was frustrated by it. It had absolutely nothing to do with Lee struggling. JJ entered the Bama game on the 5th play, before Lee ever threw a pick. Miles forced JJ on us.

Miles fricked with Lee's head. He did it on purpose. And ended up costing LSU a BCS championship

If Mett lights it up next season, its no indication of what he might of done this season. As far as every coach having favs, its 100% true. There are probably guys on every team who should start but don't. They don't because the other player does everything he's supposed to(breakfast checks, never late to meetings, attends every class, works hard every day in practice, stays extra long in the film room, etc) and the coaches simply trust him more, because he's proven to do everything asked of him, and dependable.

Give me a freaking break...Miles had Lee start the "game of the century" 6 weeks after JJ had returned.

He gave Lee the biggest chance to redeem himself, redeem his past play vs Bama that anyone could ever be given!

Lee took that chance Miles gave him vs. Bama and compLeted 3 passess for 20 something yds, 2 int, and a QB rating of 15.

Bottom line, the only one responsible for JL losing his starting gig was JL.

BTW, good coaches don't give a crap whether or not fans agree with who starts.

You want to try to argue that JJ wasn't given a different standard??? Lee never got a shot after the Bama game even when JJ was sucking it up for two straight. Hell, he didn't get meaningful PT when LSU was blowing out Arkansas in his final home game.

It's time to realize you are wrong. Les had a different standard for those two and was looking for a reason to reinstate JJ at QB. Les Miles isn't perfect and this year the QB position proved to be an achilles. His loyalty (as to Crowtown) is something he has to overcome.

If people admitted the truth that Mett was better that would be admitting Les played the lesser player. We all know Les isn't perfect but some people here will swear Les walks on water. They will never admit he played favorites with JJ who was basically a CUSA caliber QB at best.
