When Bregman stepped to plate in 8th inning last night, he was clearly struggling at the plate for the Regional & Super Regionals. With runners at 2nd & 3rd, I love the encouragement & support the Tiger Fans gave him as he stepped in the batters box. Way to go Tiger Fans....way to go Bregman! What a great moment for his last at bat in The Box

Were you expecting the crowd to boo him?

Glad to see he delivered...maybe this will begin a hot streak for him. Our offense needs to get on track with how UF and Vandy are playing.

Maybe not but I expected someone to be an a-hole in this thread. Looks like I was right

sent chills down my spine listening to it on the radio..its like the crowd already knew something special was about to happen.

He came through in the clutch and could be the spark that gets him going the rest of the way. I just don't understand how the crowd cheering had anything to do with it or what else the crowd was suppose to do?

It really would have been so disheartening for his last bat at the Box to have been an out amid a crucial rally after all he did in the regular season to make LSU the # 1 team. He stepped up and so did the fans. Another great memory.

Everybody knew it was probably his last at bat in the Box... whether he ended up 0-16 or not he deserved some love. It was awesome that he finally got his hit though.

It's TD, way to go out on a limb in your prediction.

Reminded me of Brad Cresse's final at bat of the CWS in 2000

I laughed, because as he walked up, Macintosh504 posted something about him sucking his whole career, and choking at this at-bat. He then knocks in 2 runs. I think Mac may have gotten banned shortly after.

He truly is an amazingly pitiful poster.

It was too perfect of a moment. The crowd going nuts, him scoring those huge runs for us. His last AB in Alex Box. It would have really been a shame for it to not work out exactly as it did.

In the stadium, my perception was that the crowd got behind him to support him, but more importantly, to try to will him to bust out of the slump. I know that sounds strange. Maybe other people feel differently.

Hopefully he's back in time for football season where this type of posting is encouraged.

I agree, place went nuts knowing it was his last AB in Alex Box Stadium and Bregman was smiling ear to ear when he was standing on first base after coming through in that spot. After that hit no one gave a shite that he was 0-15 in post season play. Everyone will remember the one.

And frick that burd douchebag. He's a completely useless dick in every single thread he posts in.
