I wish the NFL and NCAA would come up with a new catagory for interceptions: Tipped.

How can a QB possibly be tagged for a tipped interception?

He made the pro bowl as an alternate so I’m not sure he was “snubbed”.

It is equal for all QBs. Some tips are high throws. Some are by the defense. Some are not. There’s now way to really differentiate it.

Did Joe show excellence tonight in anything other than taking sacks?

Did you miss the 348 yards and the clutch plays against an elite defense on the road?

I saw a ton of unnecessary sacks and zero touchdowns. Game wouldn’t have been close if he threw the ball away a few times.

I’m a huge supporter of Joe but this was not a great showing. His offensive line needs a ton of work but his kicker bailed him out of some bad decisions

He turned it on late in the season. No snub

You want him to throw it up for grabs? Throw it into double coverage and let the ball get tipped in the air and maybe intercepted?

He also scrambled for a first down on 3rd down which set up the second half td.

He made crucial plays when they mattered and helped lead his team to a win in light of being pressured all game. I'd say that's excellent.

I bet he preferred they didn't.

I agree. Burrow’s pass blocking really sucked today.

He complete 75% of his passes for 340+ yards on the road in the playoffs. Seems like he showed excellence in passing the ball.

Other than getting his team in a position to win? Yes he did.

Does he need a better OL? Sure. But he did what he does.

Be happy for the kid.

Yes, but some QBs have better WRs than others. But agree with this sentiment overall.

There very much is.

Was it the QBs fault, or was it not. Both are generally pretty well established on a play-by-play basis and therefore could be differentiated pretty easily, and more importantly, fairly. You

Lots of tipped passes are actually on the Qb for low arm slot, waiting too late to release, slow release, no looking defenders off, etc.
Very tough to determine if it was the QBs fault or just a really good defensive play.
