His shot selection has been bad from the start and never improved.

He’s got the worst FT% and worst FG% of his career this year.

He’s also playing on the worst offensive team of his career. And as a veteran player that leads to him taking more contested/forced shots. He’s shooting 35% from 3 and one of our most clutch shooters.

Now as a team we shouldn’t have settled for 25 threes tonight. And 8 attempts by Days was 2-3 too many. But I’m sure Wade is okay with him shooting 3s as I am too.

They get up big and start shooting low percentage 3s. Its frustrating.

Feed Eason when we're winning big.

When State made that big run in the second half, I swear to god like 10 consecutive possessions we ran down the floor, didn’t set any screen or use up clock and just jacked up 3s and missed all of them.

Yep days plays hard as frick and I appreciate his time here but he has still not grasped that if he doesn't force it he'll play better.

Days knows his only shot at continuing his career is to be a 3 point shooter. That ain’t gonna happen. If he’d just work on his inside offensive game he could be an asset. He and Efton need lots more time on the bench.

Yeah, Days was basically a role player who got thrust into the role of carrying the team on offense. At least in his mind, don't know what Coach Wade has told him. I don't think he should stop shooting threes by any means. It is a crucial part of our offense. He just needs to take good threes and stop forcing them when he is guarded closely. Likewise he needs to use better judgement on the occasions when he tries to bull his way to the basket. Easy for us to say after the fact, hard to do when you're out there on the floor.

35% is great - CJ/ MAR was 35%

You gotta take shots to make shots for those of you who never played

Played the game and know the game.

Days is a role player period. The reason he was so effective prior to this year is because we had really good guards that could handle the rock well, penetrate, and create their own shots like Smart & Mays. Those two allowed Days to just camp out on the 3 point line and get wide open looks when the defense was forced to double up on them when they penetrated. This team doesn’t have anyone close to the play making skills of Smart & Mays, thus Days is forced to play a role he simply doesn’t have the talent to play.

Days, in SEC play, is shooting

37% fg
30% 3pt
57% FT

He has been a tremendous disappointment
