Love Aranda but ...

Aranda is a great defensive coordinator, but he continues to not make the right adjustments against passing teams. Against A&M, we let their QB pick us apart even though we knew he made bad decisions when he's hurried. We had that game in hand, but we just sat back and didn't blitz and let them come back time after time and don't make any adjustments.
Against UCF, giving up that TD right before half was simply poor coaching. How do you let your last-string defensive backs have no protection over the top? If anything, we should have had three DBs standing on the goal line making sure they didn't get into the end zone without being double or triple teamed!
LSU forked out the money to keep Aranda and even gave him the title of co or associate head coach, so it's time Aranda steps up and earns his big money. There were too many times this year that our defense was our liability and that's shouldn't be the case! It's easy for fans to jump on O, but when it comes to Aranda everyone gives him a free pass! Well, that pass is costing us a lot of money, so it's time for him to step up and make the needed adjustments or it's going to cost us more wins!

All I can do is laugh at you. He had to use a receiver at CB. WTBF!? Is wrong with you!?!?!
Updated to say. I can’t believe you upvoted yourself for that asinine assessment you made. Jesus!

I'd delete that post before someone quotes it.

I'd say he's done that by being 95% of the reason we won 10 games this season.

You're probably right, but we're going to play a lot tougher teams in the SEC that mistakes like that will cost us the game. I like Aranda, but he needs to be called out for his lack of adjustments!

Dis you even watch the UCF game?
He was playing with the LSU quidditch team in the secondary and shut them down in the second half.
The offense and ST gave up 10 of those total pts.

He was limited in what he could do with guys who had to play unexpectedly and just had not had enough reps and work to know all the call, alignments, etc. he had to keep it simple and basic. Simple as that.

Manny was with him stride for stride and QB dropped it in a bucket from 30+ yards with 1 step before being OOB. Good coverage, better throw.

Without Aranda, Orgeron is already gone! Bottom line is Aranda has allowed Orgeron to continue living out his "dream" of being the HC of the LSU Tigers and when Aranda leaves Orgerons dream will soon die thereafter!
