I've seen it mentioned that Cops were telling people paid parking lots were full upon arrival. I purchased a parking pass for lot 406 and I am planning on doing a small tailgate out the back of the SUV for my kids first game.

What time should I get there?

I’d say prior to KO?

you should be fine for this week, it really won’t be a big problem getting around Saturday compared to auburn.

Thanks, I am planning on getting there around 1:30 / 2pm. My kids are both under 7 so I'm trying to not keep them there all day. We will see if they last the whole game! This will be their first.

406 sucks right now if you don't leave early, which we don't....you get funneled downtown where 13th gate is going on, which adds a ton of traffic to get on 110. Took us forever last week.

Has anyone with a paid parking pass been turned away from getting a parking space? I arrived around 4pm last Saturday and the attendant said "I hope you can find a space." He wasn't wrong as there may have been less than a half-dozen spaces left.

If you stay a little bit longer you can go through campus and don’t have to go that way. That way is def brutal this time of year.

That shouldn't be a problem, they shouldn't sell more parking passes then parking spaces.

There are good tailgating spots in the back of the lot by the soccer stadium.

That was our very first lot years ago before we moved. Getting there just to park probably 3-4. Tailgating you might want to get there about 12-1:30.

Not sure where you are headed after but the exit on River Road will likely either funnel you South towards the casino or north towards the 13th Gate/Pastime. If traffic is not going the direction you want, you’ll probably be able to maneuver around to get to the direction you need.

I will say that it’s a nice hike to the stadium from there but it’s not a bad walk just a long one. Meaning with young kids they better be ready to walk.

No idea, but what I do know is that you need to leave before the games starts to beat traffic.

When you leave you will go to River Rd then right, to interstate.

You mean you’re not there already?

Out permit is for 406. We leave home (Gonzales) two hours before kickoff. Typically we are parked in 406 about an hour before the game. Parking is scarce in the lot for sure by that time, but always works out.

Gutsy move... Thats 5 hours of tailgate time before kickoff. I'd recommend getting there around 3:30 if I were you. Parking will be fine.

About the same time for me, I park in 407 every game. It should be pretty chill compared, but like many have said it can get a little chaotic leaving at times from that lot.
