I'll be the first to admit there's a slim chance of this happening, but if LSU ran the table and lost the division to a 7-1 Bama or A&M, it would basically be in the same position as 2011 Bama. The argument would be, even though we didn't play in the championship, it is clear we are one of the best teams in the nation. We are undefeated since the coaching change with wins against OM, Bama, Ark and A&M. Plus, the team would get an extra week of rest.

The committee is supposedly designed to pick the best teams at that moment in the season. It would be interesting how they would handle that and how they would examine this whole Florida fiasco.

Even if we beat Wisconsin it wouldn't matter because Bama.

On the other hand, if we didn't lose to Wisconsin and Auburn, we would still be stuck in terminal suck and this whole issue would be moot anyway.

Truly I think we can trace our problems in this 2016 season to 1903
