The Miss State fans here are not pleased with Cannizaro's handling of the pitching last inning.

What do they expect from a guy with 2 years experience as a hitting coach?

The theme of their complaints about Andy's pitcher management is the Moo State fans believe Cannizaro was putting too much emphasis on saving arms for the semi-final game tomorrow with a 3-0 lead and forgot they had to win today's game first.

Now they have to win again tonight against Arkansas just to get to tomorrow's rematch game with Florida.

I don't know the Miss St pitchers well enough to know who they are talking about but they all said "Oh no, not him!" every time a relief pitcher came out of the bullpen gate in the 8th inning.

PS- It finally feels like typical SEC tournament summer weather here. The sun is brutal today.

Mississippi State fans should be thrilled with the results that Andy Cannizzaro has produced this year.

They lead the nation with 22 come from behind victories... this isn't over.

That's because their starting pitching sucks so they give up a bunch of runs early...they have 22 come from behind wins but only 1 of those came when trailing after 7 and they have zero come from behind wins in the 9th.

I think the point he was trying to make is that most score boards only have a single digit allocated to each inning, not that teams never score 10 runs in an inning.
