I wish we had the luxury of easing him in but we don't. Etling is not completely terrible, but we need to get Brennan ready ASAP. He will be our playmaker. I realize that part of Lee and Jefferson's problems were that they got thrown to the wolves too soon because of the Perriloux situation but O needs to handle this one properly. Brennan is the QB of the future and the future is now.

Mississippi High school football is not that good. Kids GREAT. he doesn't know the offence yet, give him half a season to get ready. by the end of the season, he will be the best QB LSU has had in a long time.

Playboy Hugh Freeze said it best you cannot and I repeat cannot beat Bama with a mediocre QB . DE is a mediocre QB not accurate, slow feet , slow release .

Brennan is far better than was advertised, and that's saying a lot, he just needs time to learn the offense.

Think the kid is the future at LSU but let's see if etling stinks it up early then I'd consider going to Brennan.
