I love socializing with our OOC opponents on their message boards and they all seem pretty convinced that we decimate them.. it's actually kind of sad

These guys are troopers. Facing us and Bama three years straight.

I don't see Miles passing much, and I think we pound it out with Guice and Fournette .

This is a very scary match up from a cheese head perspective. They can load up the box and still have Malachi and company out there, and if they drop a few back...they get freight trained.

Couple that with the fact that their offense isn't close to what it was before, and we have ourselves a blowout.. or we SHOULD.

However, even with stale play calling they shouldn't have any answers for us.

God guys, I'm ready for this season. Let's talk football

Melvin Gordon was their whole team. So i think we just run through them.

The looooooooooooong drought between baseball ending and football starting. Damn it. I may have to finish a project or two around the house.

You are dismissing the fact that it's a home state game for Bucky. Granted the Tiger fans will have a very strong showing, but this will be the first time for Wisconsin in any SEC matchup that they will have a quasi home field advantage.

Every bowl game vs SEC opponents and every regular season game against SEC opponents has been basically a road game. Finally we get a quality team to almost our turf.

LSU should win. A blowout would be a bit surprising to me. It should have been a 4 point game vs Bama at half last year on the road and missing our top offensive and defensive player with a first year Head Coach. Bama took it to us in the 3rd quarter though, yes. Melvin Gordon was the man, but that QB was terrible in 2014 and that HC didn't understand UW Football.
I think Wisconsin can be a better team than the last time we met also. We had zero passing game and d line depth back then.

I hope its a competitive game going into the 4th quarter. Then we shall see a little jump around and see what team knows how to finish.

At the end of the day LSU needs the win to start off what should be their best season in years and keep the heat off Coach Miles. Probably have top 5 talent in the country. Wisconsin needs a win to avoid going 0-3 in these nonconference affairs and to show some home state pride. Also need to stay above water in what will be a very treacherous front half of the schedule.

I will root for LF to win the Heisman and for LSU to win out, but come September this Badger fan will bring his A game and cheer his butt off to see an upset in Gods Country.

I like your choice of words here "quasi home field advantage". Looking forward to breathing in the Lambeau experience and spending money in your state. Also looking forward to seeing how much purple and gold is in there with me.

Never know how teams will play week 1. Wisky and probably every other team we play will stack the box as much as they have to until the run is stopped, and force Lsu to prove they can pass.

Really looking forward to seeing our defense be more aggressive this year.

i had forgot that shite.

worked with grads of UW-Madison and THE Ohio State back in the day.

terrible. they were constantly going on and on about their schools and states.

God's country.
I hope LSU crushes them in the first half. we know Les will take his foot off the gas if he gets up too much. Wont want to embarrass them in front of their moms.

I really hope we don't just run the ball. I hope to see some major improvement in Harris and Les actually opens him up the first couple of games. Make teams afraid to just stack the box on us and we win it all this year.

Corey Clement had an injury-riddled 2015 and still has yet to show, going into his senior season, that he can be a workhorse. So, a couple questions linger. However, behind Melvin Gordon, Clement may be the most physically-talented RB Wisconsin has had.

On paper LSU has every single advantage minus home field. I mean it's so completely in our favor that it's not really worth discussing

The problem will be can we apply pressure early and often on both sides and make few mistakes. Home crowd advantage thing is overrated when you aren't actually at the home team's stadium.

Watch Miss St from last year. Up 14-0 and should have been more (mistakes), then we took our foot off the gas in the 2nd quarter. We were a missed FG by the Miss St kicker from losing. Game vs TCU, mistakes made that game a lot closer than what it should have been and Jeremy Hill would have had a field day vs that team if he wasn't suspended. Vs Oregon in 2011, we just ran them off the field and the game wasn't as close as the score suggested.

The differences in Wisconsin and LSU from the 2014 opener and this one are almost night and day.

Won't be overly harsh since crazy.....camp seems like a nice guy and we're not playing a team coached by Saban, Freeze, Bielema, Mullen, or even Urban or Harbaugh - but I hope we beat the cheese out of them like we did vs. Oregon and TCU to open those seasons. And I'll be there to
