I wouldn't bother to bring tailgate gear...it is just like LSU in that all of the decent places to tailgate are taken...

I can't remember exactly where they are, but there are pay parking lots scattered around and they cost a hell of a lot less than the game day parking at LSU...you may want to check out their website this week to find out exactly where they are...

resturants will have similar crowds to those around LSU...get there early and plan to wait some and you will be fine....

there are a good number of resturants near campus...I would recommed The Central Station Grill (upscale bar and grill), Little Dooey (barbecue), The Veranda (relatively upscale), Mugshots (great hamburgers)...most resturants are not within walking distance, but some are...
