He was a coworker of mine. I had talked to him the day before he left for Georgia at work. He was SO excited to go. We talked sports pretty much every day. He would often tell me stories of his college days and about games in the PMAC back when it was packed, etc. which I was amazed by (I'm only 20). He was having the time of his life this year -- he attended the Alabama game this year and told me all about that experience. He went to the Arkansas game and sat in the student section and we talked and laughed about the flashbacks he had and how crazy it was that game. Then, obviously, he was able to attend the SECCG in Georgia, and he told me he was looking to get tickets to the NCG.
I got the phone call Saturday night from one of my coworkers, and I'm still in shock. It's just crazy how you can talk to someone the day before and remember it vividly, and see him being his normal self, and the next he's gone. It's just hard to wrap your mind around it.
RIP. As good as the seats and experiences of Tuscaloosa and Atlanta were, you'll undoubtedly have a MUCH better ticket to watch the Tigers win it all.
