Despite some concerns from the game, it was a big bright spot to see Logan Diggs basically gets the start and show off his skills. His vision and elusiveness in between the tackles was impressive. Him and Kaleb could have a big year running behind that OL once Heard breaks the starting spot.

Our running game is due to make a leap from last year.

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen an LSU RB with vision like that.

His high-stepping reminded me of Roger Craig from the 49er’s.

Kid seems to weave his way through traffic & has a little burst in the open field.

Look forward to seeing more of him.

He and Caleb Jackson should get the bulk of the carries

What happened to Goodwin? Thought BK said he was available for Grambling?

Go to 1:15 part

Markway #84 makes a great block opens the whole for Diggs. Love that physicality of both of them.

I’m predicting now Emery is going to wreck shite. Has nothing to lose and speed to burn.

Diggs Williams and then Caleb Jackson should be the pecking order. And I think the coaches know that as well

Good looking tall back for sure.
His style is fun to watch. Definitely shows his football IQ.

Diggs looked great, and Jackson has a ton of potential. But Jacob Hester this morning—who played 5 years in the NFL, a lot due to being a professional film evaluator—said ALL of our backs were really, really bad in pass pro. Even the upperclassmen. Like really bad. Against Grambling. And we’re a pass 1st to open the run team this year, so that’s gonna be a problem. If they all suck, go with the best runner of the football. But if some of them step up and can figure out pass blocking, that skill set may be more important than simply who’s the best runner. As long as we’re running this offense.
