do we even need too? frick, just one of those two is plenty. Fulton didnt even fail a fricking PED test, how can faking a test be worse than actually failing it?

edit: the point of all this is to keep PEDs out of CFB, but naturally the NCAA has to put the focus on themselves and not the athletes, the spotlight has to be on them, they're the star, so if you try to trick them, they'll get personally offended and throw a hissy fit.

Because if it cheating wasn't worse then everyone would attempt to cheat every time they knew they were in danger of failing it.

caught with weed and guns in a car - not punishable by NCAA bylaws. Enforcement by law enforcement and individual schools

Does anyone if the NCAA actually has bylaws addressing criminal charges being brought against a player? I think the NCAA leaves criminal stuff to the schools unless the allegations involve something that affects eligibility.

Pretty sure Craig James murdered like 8 hookers at SMU and was still allowed to play.

Well, those are actual crimes adjudicated by the criminal justice system. The NCAA only adjudicates violations of its own policies. Not hard to understand.

It should clearly be an additional penalty.

Not in itself worse.

Or count as a fail.

In school if your caught cheating they don’t fail you 2 tests.

I always point to Manziel selling $25,000 worth of autographs w no penalty, yet Ohio St players get some free tatoos and they dismiss the coach

The Cam Newton deal, from FL to AU, was the beginning of my decline CFB-wise

Nothing is really enforceable by the NCAA. I personally liked the idea of saying FU and playing Fulton anyway.

Miss St and Oklahoma were in the middle of that Florida to Auburn movement too correct? They were at least able to place bids

What proof do you have to support this claim?

this thread needs more organization, but it's a great idea.
if we could publish a list of previous lesser sanctions or infractions gone unpunished, then use it on social media. maybe it will help push the envelope further
