Like a big ol' hen......

Regarding protecting the 'lead' and not being aggressive: the thought that came to my mind on Saturday was a big ol' hen sitting on a nest, protecting that precious egg, and then almost smothering the poor chick to death as she tried to continue to protect it.

No. Because you're wrong. People who post incorrect, ill-informed tropes about the team don't deserve niceness.
Go back and rewatch the game. Adjust your opinion so that it is less wrong. And come back.

Oh, wow! You have your opinion...I have mine. Too conservative. My alma mater will never win the BIG ONES while playing conservative. There is NO instinct to win BIG. That was so obvious on Saturday. Hoping for a little more AGGRESSION on Saturday. Get off that egg, Les!

And what about the play-calling was too conservative? The fumbles? The failure to recover a perfect onside kick? The 50/50 run/pass ratio? Please enlighten us.

Once again....just my opinion, to which I, like you, am entitled. There were horrible mistakes, etc., but I still feel that until we play much more aggressively, we will pay. Certainly hope to see a little more 'killer instinct', as some call it, next week.

I think I've made myself clear on that....be more AGGRESSIVE! And, for what it's worth, there are MANY MORE posts re the lack of aggressiveness. I realize that you more experienced folks like to jump on the new person....I've been on TD far too long.....so, think of something else.
