he earned it with hard work so i wouldn't necessarily say it's "free". but yeah big time d-1 athletes have a great setup despite what the media says.

They're given every advantage to succeed nutritionally, physically, and educationally. Whether they choose to take advantage of that is completely up to them. But to say the Power 5 schools set them up for success is an understatement.

If he's a top 5 pick it'd be bad business to stay.

It's bad for any top tier rb to stay a second longer than he has to stay.

If he did stay, he'd likely set an LSU career rushing record that will never be touched. He's gone after this season though despite the "free" stuff.

You'd be shocked to know that money is absolutely everything to everyone

My pants will remain on.

A 1st round running back isn't going to put the extra mileage on the tires, unfortunately for us fans.

I'd rather sign a multimillion dollar contract for the next several years than have a year of free food and board from LSU.

Enjoy him for one more year folks.

Everything will feel free when you're making tens of millions of dollars

I agree. I was just passing on what he said. I'd personally move on. It would be like going for a business degree and someone saying "hey I know you still have a year. But here's a job that'll pay you more than you'll ever make"
Of course you're gonna take the money. Very few would stay and get that paper.
shite. He'll make more in a few years than I'll make my entire life probably.
