LF excitement is reminiscent of Russel Shepard

Not saying the outcome will be the same but I haven't seen the fan base this excited about a recruit since RS.

The excitement level of LF is several hundred percent higher than Shepard. I really dont consider it close either.

This. RS was a dual-threat QB and his role in the LSU offense was unclear. He had talent, but how well it would translate at LSU was never certain.
LF is even more talented and touted even higher (#1 recruit) plus he has a clear roll as a RB. Everyone knows what he can do and will offer LSU. Everyone knows where he will fit at LSU and what his role wil be.

Shep didn't have an LSU offer when he was 14. Miles didn't choose to not sign any players at Shep's position the year before shep graduated to clear things up for shep. Only way LF doesn't pan out is a major injury. #buganosuga

Idk, Russell was wr all the way to me. We also happened to sign Ruben randle in the same class. Played qb in has and was a 5* wr. I think LFs commitment blows Russell out the water. Especially since he was considering bama,and we had already lost 2 five stars to other teams we play every year.

Randle played QB his senior year only. Shep played his entire career at QB. Big difference.
