Our RBs are so healthy, effective, and fresh throughout their college and pro careers for a reason. LF will get more carries in each of the next two seasons, but he'll never get 30 carries like Nick Chubb yesterday. And that's a good thing.

People can criticize our coaches for a lot of things - but our management of RBs is not one of them. We consistently have one of the best running games in the country. Our backs stay healthy. And they're productive at the next level (which is the ultimate goal for them).

What happened at Arky? That was inexplicable.

There are no fricking numbers between him and Miles. And if there is that's fricking bullshite. You play to win. If you can do that without overworking him thrn great, but if you need him in the game, especially a fricking bowl game, the kid goes in.

I'd rather them run him 15 times getting 100+ yards and multiple TDs for 3 years than run him into the ground for one year.

I would like to see them throw him the ball so that he is not a target on every handoff because you know when he is in the game it is a running play...

Preach! It's maddening. Our best player on our terrible offense only got ELEVEN carries.

Even worse, our most ineffective QB in long time gets 24 touches. Lester!

Same thing I've been saying. How do you not give an outstanding workhorse running back talent less than 20 carries. He would have gone over 200 yards and likely get another TD with 9 more carries, but the coaches chose to "spread it around" instead of going with a great player having a great day.

Again... I'm not saying give him 25+ touches a game or anything like that. But 14 is under-using him.

we weren't winning a NC this year anyway so no reason to run him into the ground for an extra W or 2.

And this is fricking ridiculous...

No shite it's ridiculous. We aren't winning one next year so why even play him?

Seriously...

Well guys we aren't winning a natl championship this year... Might as well put the backups in. Who cares if we could win a few more games?

Georgia gave chubb the ball 33 times against louisville. Georgia won easily, imagine that.

Yep... And only threw the ball 15times and Mason is better than Jennings. But they leaned on their stud RB in Chubb and he won the game for them. Period.

And again I'm not saying we give him the ball 30+ times like Chubb got. But 11 carries after he destroyed ND all game long and averaged just 14 carries a game in our offense is just baffling to me.
