When people were asking who would represent JJ, as a joke I said Unglesby.
I knew about Unglesby even when I lived in Pennsylvania because of the Barry Seal conspiracy.

I wouldn't know since A) I'm not a law expert and B) I've never seen him in action. He's just more of a local celebrity type. Possibly due to the Barry Seal incident and a few other contraversial clients.

Unglesby is legit. I think he lost his arse off in the Stanford thing so he takes some cases now that maybe he wouldn't back a few years ago. If I didn't want to go to jail he would be in my top 5 for sure.

It sounds as if he intends to seek Jefferson's reinstatement with the football team. I think that is a commendable but ultimately quixotic effort. I can't envision LSU ever allowing a player facing a felony charge to don the P&G.

This case is going nowhere. At the most, a battery plea. 250 hours of community service, 6 months probation and $500 fine

I've met L. Unglesby and he is a total a-hole! Thinks he is the greatest thing since slice bread....but most defense lawyers are this way. Hopefully he can free JJ & save our season.
