Genuine or not, the kid is off the club. If he gets things straight till February, dedicating himself to priorities and getting back on the club...wish him well. Isn't there enough cynicism to go around many times over already.

Scoop,
For some reason the part of your post which I find most intriguing is that you said "came" to LSU, rather than "went" to LSU.

This is could be due to your subconscious telling you that you are becoming (*gasp*) a fan of LSU, or (less likely) you aren't actually a Bama fan... an interesting "Freudian" slip regardless.

We've talked him down to a letter or card. Originally, he was bringing a boom box to Tyrann's rehab window, putting on "Baby Come Back" by Player, holding it over his head, arms locked and staring at his window until Tyrann responded.

Tyrann was busy with the well meaning, but fraudulent, manager of the center.

No, Im a BAMA fan but I sincerely like LSU football and the fans passion. I have to be honest, I think Coach Miles won me over and I am a huge Les Miles fan.

I have given coach Miles hell at times but I truly believe he is a great coach and I have for a long time. Also, I think he is a good person and a very genuine man.

Les Miles is the kind of person you would enjoy being friends with and he would be someone you could count on if he was your friend I believe.

I agree. Contrary to popular opinion, I believe CLM is one of the best in the business and will go down as the best career coach in our school history.

I just thought it was interesting that a fan of our biggest current rival referred to a kid "coming" to LSU rather than "going". Not a knock, mind you. We welcome all "converts".

Eta: I've got family who are lifelong Bama fans and I work for a company which is based out of B-ham, and you are, by far, the most reasonable of all the Bama fans I know. So kudos.

The biggest cause of Tyrann's problems is sycophantic fans such as you.

You must be a fricking democrat.

How did you make that leap? Scoop.. you come across as a rational participant here. May be you have some Bama logic in you.

I'm not Scoop, but I think the "democrat" comment was to the fact that Penrod was projecting the accountability of TMs actions onto LSU's "sycophantic" fan base, rather than holding TM himself accountable, as is often the case with democratic socio-political philosophy.

Honestly I think both missed their mark, but what do I know, I'm just a jar of tasty fruit spread.
