Show me proof that defense is better than MSU. They have only been playing together for one game. You're a dumbass if you immediately think just because they have good recruiting classes, they have a all-world defense again. Chemistry has a huge part in making a good defense, not just talent.

If that was the case, then why isn't LSU a top 10 defense every year anymore? Because it sure as hell isn't talent.

Yeah, Randle really stopped on that route.

Like I said, credibility gone. It's very easy to spot the very casual, not so knowledgeable college football fan on this board.

That's not the QB he is. He is great at managing the game and won't lose any games. Like I've said before, he is in the wrong system. He is the perfect fit for a rushing offense that can pick up first downs on the ground.

I'm not saying that was a terrible pass, but RR definitely had to slow down. At the point he got the ball, the S was on him. The good thing about that pass is the S wasn't looking at the ball, so it not being as accurate didn't really hurt. In all fairness to JJ, RR should be catching that ball at the highest point anyway. I'm just using that as example hes never been very accurate on short or long passes. I'm hoping he improves that area and reads. If he improves his progression reads, that will improve on him getting rid of the ball quicker too.

His release we can live with if he improves other areas. He can get away with that release more than he will if he ever makes it to the NFL.

So has MSU, because there has only been one fricking game.

You're a dumbass for assuming that UNC's D had nothing to do with our offensive troubles in the 2nd Half and that UNC's backups arent as good as their starters. Just like a lot of our backups could be starters right now. They have been practicing together for months. Its not like the coaches JUST put the second team in with the first ONLY a week before our game. They have known about this NCAA shite for a while. GTFO with your MSU D>>>>>>UNC 2nd D bullshite

I agree 100%. UNC D is better than MSU. Very pleased to hear others recognize that despite all the media talk about how depleted they were. Hint if you replace a superstar with a star you are still pretty freaking good.

Funny how you never heard a word about DP, Baker, CT, Blackwell etc etc for LSU not playing.

And on the qb comparison. JJ had one of his better games. I hope he can improve on it. But it was far from perfect. His didn't throw down field accurately except for the one long catch and a bunch of his short passes were inaccurate causeing drops and not allowing the receiver to advance the ball after they made the tough catch and sometimes it didn't matter and they advanced the ball anyway.

JJ needs to improve on his accuracy and do more of the hitting receivers other than the ones that ones that are just running wide arse open. Good news is he did make some throws that he wasn't last year. Hopefully he can improve on that each week.

He had more completions of 25+ yards in 2009 than Lee in 2008 and Flynn in 2007.

Just sayin.

Preemptive "well he just throws short routes and our athletes run the rest of the way" response with a complete lack of support.

Well, you're blind as hell dude. No offense but you need a DVR to see it for yourself. You can see it in that gif but during the game, it was much more obvious...

Doesn't really matter, last year JJ wouldn't make that throw. So at least its progression.

Not to mention, he got 40 of those yards and a touchdown on a screen pass.

I don't think they called a single screen play in our game.

that you are wrong. I am not what most would consider a JJ fan, but on that throw he did well. If fact, for most of the game he did well. Again, I would not consider myself a JJ fan, but got to give credit when it is due....I think he showed some improvement. Emphasis on some. Let's hope it continues.

I don't think its out of the realm of possibility LSU stepped on its neck more than UNC did in the second half. Especially with the inconsistencies they've shown the past two years. Not saying it was all LSU, UNC did play hard. But LSU didn't do itself any favors, especially with all the TOs.

I'm just saying you have no basis to make a argument UNC has a better D than MSU after one game where they played as a complete unit. And no, they didn't get as many reps as the first team all Summer/Spring. Yes, that does matter because different people were rotated in and they only had a week to develop that chemistry with the little first team players left.

I was making fun of the retarded arse clowns on this board who continue to throw out conclusions with no evidence to back them up, only supported by the warped perception of what they wish had occurred.

There are a lot of things to criticize Jefferson for, but accuracy isn't one of them.

JJ's down the field accuracy is not very good, he builds up his completion percentage from 4 and 5 yard throws
