Did not see a recent post about their winning AGAIN on Sunday. They are playing at a very high level and seem to have all the pieces in place for another great season. I don't know what their highest ranking in regular season has ever been but they look poised and ready to win their 1st NCAA championship. Let it happen. Geaux Lady Tigers!

Probably because hardly anyone cares. Just saying what 99% of us are thinking.

Love LSU softball, just concerned the pitching is not going to be good enough down the road. Too young and inconsistent. The bats though, are phenomenal.

Yeah, it'll be tougher down the road if the offense goes cold, but at the moment the pitching has been "good enough" to go far in the post-season. Dobson has done a hell of a job this season with whatever his new system is. Incredible what S. Sanchez and Thornhill are doing in the senior campaigns.

Sunseri hasn't been quite the same player, in the batter's box or in the pitching circle, as she was to start the season since getting hit by a pitch in her right wrist a few weeks back, at least in my opinion. Hopefully she heals up and gets back to how she was before.

This is an exciting team to watch. Offensively they are lightening in a bottle.

I believe they can slug their way to Oklahoma City but probably don't have the pitching to win it all.

It's a little frustrating to watch because it seems that if Hoover and Walljasper could have squeezed out one more year of eligibility, the Natty would simply be theirs to lose.

Yeah, yeah. I know about your aunt's balls so don't bother.

Real LSU Tigers fans care about any sport the Tigers compete in!

The LSU Tigers Softball team is solid on offense and defense, with mostly upperclassmen starters, and definitely a strong coaching staff. The team plays hard and always has the ability and desire to make a come back when they are behind.

It's a fun team to follow (usually all the way to Women's College World Series)!

Even if their youth catches up to the pitchers this season there is a tremendous foundation in place for the next two seasons. With so many good hitters asnd developing players they will be posied to make a serious run he next 2 to 3 seasons. Then add strong recruiting classes and maybe a major transfer or two and they could develop into the premier program in the country.

Take a hike, loser. Most of us support LSU in all sports. You sound like a Bama fan with that mentality.

Other than FSU and UCLA, with our bats, pitching more than adequate to win any game.

I'd rather watch softball than baseball. Much more enjoyable.

As most posters have said, last year's pitching with this year's offense would have had a great chance of bringing home the title.

I don't think the pitching is going to measure up at WCWS for this team. Too inconsistent in a tournament when you have to execute in all phases to win.

is this our best softball team ever? I know its early and dont know a whole lot about the other teams. But this feels like our most balance team ever between hitting, pitching, and speed. Thoughts?
