Well, if it can be determined through 5 innings that we can't hit, then it should also be able to be determined that nobody will be able to score a single run on us all year correct?

Nobody said anything about giving up. They may end up being a really good hitting team. I just don’t see guys that are gonna put fear in SEC level pitchers.

Impossible to evaluate anything at this point but what concerns me is their approach at the plate. They don’t work the counts and swing at bad pitches. A lot of weak swings at pitches out of the zone resulting in a lot of pop-ups. Just a way to early evaluation though.

We have quite a bit of walks through 5 innings dude. You don't walk a ton by swinging at bad pitches and not working counts.

Not at all. You're judging the hitting ability for 6 players that are very inexperienced. We have no idea how they will be able to hit when we get that far into the season.
