No, but what's the benchmark? Isn't it to make an Omaha trip when preseason expectations strongly indicated a more than capable team to accomplish this feat?

Benchmark to validate your team's success relative to preseason expectations. Firing the coach isn't neither here nor there. All I'm saying is that people expect LSU to be in Omaha, especially this year. If the coach doesn't make it there, at what point do start to contemplate changes at the top? Aren't most people on this board offended when he "throws his own players under the bus?"

We'll see what your saying "IF" our post season woes continue! I admit CPM is a one of the best regular season coaches in the past 20 years but he doesn't adjust well in the playoffs.

Comparing him to other coaches doesn't change the fact that we've only won 1 CWS game since 2010!!! Schlonaggle has whipped our arse the past 3 years! If TCU were to win the CWS this year he'd be the hottest coach in the country.
