Until at least after the Florida game. I will freely admit team is much much different with ettling as QB.

But Miles is still the HC and 1999 way to frick this up.

Why should I damp down the optimism? I like watching football. I like when my team wins. Why the hell should I be miserable and not look forward to anything on my weeekends?

Sorry I'm not miserable

It's been a roller coaster so far. Going into the season my expectations were a 10/10 on low to high scale. After Wisconsin a 2/10,and now I'd say it's back up to a 6/10.

You're literally asking people not to enjoy their weekends.

Why would you ask people not to be optimistic?

How about this? I do not like Miles as a coach...but watching Etling play last night gave me hope, and I think he's going to get better.

He's not miserable. He's a realist, not an idealist.

The way I look at it is either we win the rest of our games (great) or we fold like the last couple of years (not great) and Miles is gone (great).

So there's a lot to look forward to either way. I'm excited to see what they do against a better Auburn defense.

So none of us can be optimistic? We should follow everyone's lead and just be miserable and expect the worst?

I'm at a point where I don't expect anything. Not surprised to see them lose. Excited to see them win.

Either way, I won't be stressed and upset after these games.

The OP actually was betting people that lsu would lose to Jacksonville state by 10 or more points. This isn't a joke or an exaggeration. He is that retarded.

No, you should be optimistic. But, let's see what happens this weekend in Auburn. Road test in hostile environment.

I'm optimistic because I have zero expectations.

Two things can happen.

1) LSU can win out
2) They lose more and Les is gone.

We win either way

I'm looking forward to seeing what our defense can do against Auburn's offense.
