Most likely will not hire a new OC and our offense will stay ranked near 100th

To the OP, Miles supporters want NC's too. 120 other teams want them too. 1 team a year gets to win. You do know that right?? I think what you mistake as complacency is really perspective and realistic expectations.
This.

I can believe this since the last thing you want to have by your name when you play a les coached team is a ranking. His record against ranked teams speaks for itself.

ince Les has been at LSU, 9 different programs have played in the bcs championship game with 5 different winners (Texas, Florida, LSU, Alabama, Auburn.) Of these 9 programs only 5 have played in it twice: Texas, Ohio St, Florida, LSU and Bama. Yeah all we are doing is getting 2-3 loss seasons and playing in non bcs bowls.
Whats even funnier is the fact that other programs have more talent than lsu and arent on this list. Yet our fans want to go scoop up coaches like jimbo fisher.

Not with the type of argumentation he's bringing.

The same people arguing with you that are running naked to the defense of miles are also the ones who bash him the entire season when shite doesn't go their way.
Won't speak for others, but this doesn't apply in the least bit to me.

I'd have gone with unrealistic, but whatever.

Snake23 has it right, hes a great recruiting coach but lets be honest, some of his calls as coach or questionable to say the least

last time i checked he won a championship

Read the entire post. I know that. He won one with two losses. We were lucky to be in that game.
No one wants to talk about luck when it comes to CLM...I was badgered yesterday and basically called the worst poster in history for mentioning luck and Miles's sucess.

realistic expectations
It's not realistic to win championships 3 out of the last 4 years.
Oops ole Nick is working on that right now.

I think we can all agree that you are fricking retarded beyond words.
I would just like to point out that Nick Saban (who i will easily concede is the best coach in college football if you concede he is not available to become LSUs coach), has lost a November home game the past 2 seasons and was aided by huge upsets by Big 12 powers Iowa State and Baylor to get his Teams back in the title hunt.

I think I'll start changing the word "luck" to "fortune". Good fortune...maybe that won't piss off the pumpers as bad.

You're absolutely ridiculous to paint it in such a black and white way. Most reasonable people (which you obviously are not) understand that we drew the short straw due to the fact that 6 teams won 10 or more games. Do you realize how difficult it is to win 10 games in this conference?! Us reasonable people realize this year could have gone VERY wrong and winning 10 games was a great accomplishment, no matter what bowl we end up in.

Is that all that matters? i though winning championships is what matters? Something we did last season, or does winning the sec not count?
Ok lets go look at the top offenses in collge football and all of them but 1 have more than 1 loss next to their name. Why did bama and lsu play for it all last year? Defense. Why is ND in it this year? Defense.
And dont give me the we have john chavis. The quicker you score, the more your d is on the field.

Read this again:
Then take a step back, consider your position, and realize how great of a job Miles has done at LSU. There's really nothing to add after this. Well, except to sign off on Dangling Fury's post.

In the 75 years the AP Poll has been around, LSU has finished ranked in the top 10 - 20 times. Of those 20, 5 of them were by Les Miles coached teams. That means that he has 25% of the top 10 finishes while only being the coach here 9% of that time period.
We were averaging a top 10 finish once every 4.5 years before Les, and now with Les we average a top 10 finish once every 1.4 seasons.
In that 75 years, we have finished in the top 5 - 9 times. Of those 9, 3 of them were by Les Miles coached teams. That means that he has 33% of the top 5 finishes while only being the coach here 9% of that time period.
We were averaging a top 5 finish once every 11.33 seasons before Les, and now with Les we average a top 5 finish once every 2.33 seasons.
