Gausman is slotted to get $4.2 million to sign. If he were to come back and be drafted #1 next year, he would be slotted to get $3 million more. What would you decide to do?

He would be a total moron to return. After senior year he'll have no leverage and won't get as large of a bonus as he can now.

If he returns he will only be a junior. I don't think he returns but if he does he will still have leverage.

he's stupid if he returns, would never let my kid return and turn down life changing money.

my selfish side says id love to have him back but i would feel awful for him if he blew out his elbow next year and never was the same. we are talking 4-5M dollars if not more. This isnt 600k.

wish him the best

Ah the fricking pessimistic view.............

My selfish side would feel great for him if he came back, won a national title at LSU, cemented a legacy among the premier baseball school in the country and got paid 7 million dollars.......

Unfortunately for you and this statement, he'll only be a junior next year and still have quite a bit of leverage proving once before that he'd be willing to return to college. I don't think he does return, but still, he'd have leverage for next year if he did decide to return

In the unlikely event that Gauseman does not sign, LSU will be in the best position to win the title next year.

6 more hours to go!!

Even IF Gausman returns, what makes you think we are the favorites with a lineup that cant hit its way out of a paper sack?

Hitting is a problem but pitching keeps LSU in the game.

LSU did make some get hits this year. LSU did win the SEC and had a great year compared to the last two years.
