Sorry, I tried to keep it short and didn't even bring up special teams and "in game" adjustment issues. Not sure you understand that execution of all aspects of game makes a complete team.

I believe wholeheartedly that LSU has great players sprinkled all over the field and are close to epic results if the coaching could match the talent.

Saban may disagree with you now about LSU fans being the worst about having "Catastrophe Syndrome". Bama fans can dish it out just as well. Try listening to the Finebaum show one afternoon and you'll see.

What Les meant to say is "be prepared to execute the play I call even though the play sucks arse. Don't worry about the 10 man front because the toss dive will work!"

What? A qb draw can go for a td if the players execute.

Link? That's weird because he says here firing Les would be a mistake.

Does he take into account when the opposing defense has perfect execution to stop the run game as well?

Execution is bullshite and he knows it. Change your game, Les. Stop saying you don't have anything to do with play-calling. We all know you have a hand in it. He needs to stop trying to be like Bo Schembechler and be his own man.

You are correct Flynn didnt say it, McCarthy HC at Green Bay said it about Flynn
quote:

his mechanics and everything, just a completely different player. His arm used to be good but it was nothing like now."

quote:

As a senior, Flynn operated a spread-the-field offense, what it didn't do was prepare Flynn for the disciplined, drop-back system employed by the Packers.

"They were wide open," McCarthy said, referring to LSU. "There wasn't a lot of in-the-pocket, throwing-the-football. That was one of the things he needed to improve on. He's throwing the ball from the pocket a lot better than last year."

and it can get stuffed if the defense executes better.

I am sorry if there was one magic play that could be run every down that was successful dependent only on offensive execution then you would have seen teams master one play and run it over and over

It is a clumsy quote as is the case with most of Les' speech.

I disagree. He tries very hard to select his words carefully and what he says. Too hard. That is why he sounds retarded in front of the camera. You think he could recruit and be personable to his team if he always spoke that way?

and Tom Brady may be the greatest QB of all time.

and Ryan Leaf is arguably the biggest bust ever.

I heard a reporter on ESPN say just the other day - I good coach makes adjustments with his team as the season goes and learns to deal with what he has for players , instead of what he thinks he has - that's miles made over!!! I am sick of reading about him , I don't want to hear him speak . I will say this 1 more time - they will never be an offensive player coached by les miles win a heisman . I truly believe if saban had our offensive players -LF would win the heisman and bama would still be right where they are today .

Discipline is suspect as well. Our players seem to celebrate excessively on successful plays as if they accomplished the act for the first time. Sometimes it leads to penalties. Taunting after a good play on pass defense... Posing and theatrics after a sack... Why do they do this stuff?

You are asking why a bunch of narcissistic teenagers want every second in the spot light? That have grown up with smart phones, twitter, Facebook, Instagram and athletes getting sucked off on sports center.

Do you watch any other teams at all? This is a problem through out sports.

I'm safe in betting LSU won't ever have another, doesn't matter the coach.

What if we swapped defenses? LSU would be the #1 seed in the play off rt now.
