still not a great comparison, since all SEC teams play different cross-division games. We all know how the last two years of bridge scheduling has helped out certain schools.

I dunno man, I feel like most of the idiots on here aren't college age or mid-20's like me. Seem like a bunch of old, bitter, uneducated fricks to be honest.

That's debatable. I find it entertaining, up to a point.

Don't have to look much further than dukke v to find a prime example of old people that think they know everything just because they're old.

CLM is a great coach and we are lucky to have him at LSU.

Whats funny about this statement is they very well could have lost to arkansas and been a 4 or 5 loss team jackass!
We very well could have beaten Ole Miss and UGA and been a 1 loss team. See how this works?

Every now and then, for example, a tard on here will say "Thanks for playing," indicating that he is easily at least 50 and unaware that nobody has used that as a snarky comeback since 1996. The couple morons in this thread are at least current with their internet lingo, indicating a strong probability of their having been born after 1982.

While we can argue the merit of such honors, they are certainly A measurement of the talent in a program as assigned by outside the program viewers.
A much better measurement of TALENT than an All American or Heisman finalist would be players in the NFL. Those awards reward statistics and popularity which is not a great indicator for gauging talent. The NFL draft is not a popularity contest or a reward based on statistics.
So let's compare the number of players that we currently have in the NFL to the other SEC schools.
That STILL does not mean that we should win every game by 40 points.

I'm starting to think the same thing. I used to think it was nothing but high school drop outs that were 18-24 working at Sonic and living in their parents' house still. One thing for sure about most of the posters here is that they are most definitely uneducated.
I'm a fellow Gen Y myself. 27 here.

Seriously? What the frick is this? You retards always try to tout that your post factual things and this is reality and now you are posting our 2013 record predicting a loss in our bowl? That's fine if you think we will lose but don't act like that is a part of Miles' record at LSU because you are bleeding pussy.
Posted on 12/12/13 at 10:56 am to xHITMANx
Another Saban's players argument? Where do you retards keep coming from?

It's worse case scenario. Just add it as a Win if you'd like.
I never bought into the whole Saban Recruit argument either.
Until I looked at the Play Makers on the 07' team. Those Top Players were not recruited by Miles. So that lends to the credibility of Saban's Staff, not Miles.
Personally i don't know if it holds weight or not, but many who don't like Miles use the fact that Miles didn't recruit those guys as an arguing point.

Does Miles get credit for any of the playmakers since then or no? Because, you know, we only had like the greatest playmaker in the history of LSU football in the time since 2007. Not positive, but I'm pretty sure he was NOT a Saban recruit.

So Nick Saban wins bowl game and 1st game next year and he's at he's basically at .750 overall.
Miles wins the next 16 games, bowl game, 12 reg season, sec champ, and the new playoff (2 games) and he's a little over .750 overall!
Great comparison you brought up!
It is people like you that make the Rant insufferable. Why are you so negative? How old are you? As you get older, you will learn to appreciate what you have a bit more.
Saban is an outlier and is a once in a life-time type of coach and what he has achieved recently is unprecedented in college football. Playing in the same division as him, let alone the same conference, Les has held his own. Don't belittle Miles' achievements because you have penis envy about what Bama has done in the past few years.

Wow, upperclassmen performed at a higher level than freshmen. What groundbreaking logic.

In that case I hope they are also quick to point out that Saban's ONLY undefeated season at Bama was done with Shula's players.

I like Miles. I hope he stays until 2019.
But his Post Season Record isn't exactly stellar.
