From Pat Forde's "Forde Yard Dash"

Could Rich Brooks' Wildcats pull off the upset against Alabama?
Kentucky at Alabama (33). This is the LSU Opportunity all over again for the Wildcats -- who are undefeated themselves and lead the nation in scoring defense. A year ago they caught LSU coming off a hugely emotional and physical victory over Florida and upset the Tigers. Now they get the Crimson Tide coming off that statement game at Georgia. The big differences this time: Kentucky is on the road, offensively challenged and facing Nick Saban, not Les Miles.

Maybe someone should send him the list of things Miles has accomplished that Saban was never able to do. Oh that's right Miles is winning with Saban's players. I wonder if Meyer has mailed his national championship ring to Zook since it was won with Zook's players?

What the frick else is new? They keep waiting for the wheels to fall off and Les keeps shoving it in their face.

From what I've viewed and read most CFB analysts are warming up to Miles. I'd say as long as we keep winning this guy will do the same.

Miles has outcoached Tubby, Urban, Tressel, Weiss, Fulmer, Saban, and Spurrier since last year. I'm not worried about what's written about him as long as this team keeps winning.

In all fairness I'd take a Nick Saban defense over a Les Miles defense any day of the week, I think this is what Forde is saying.

Forde has always been a little bitch. Nothing new. Miles will continue to be diminished and he will continue to prove them wrong.

As long as Les has the respect of his players, then no one elses matters.

Yeah, well, Les Miles was able to do something last season Nick wasn't able to do: beat Sly Croom and MooU.

Good thing, I guess, that Les and LSU didn't have to take on that powerhouse UL-M squad.

Fairness, hell! I thought Pellini's defense under Miles was every bit as good or better than Saban's when he was at LSU...and in all fairness, since Les is an offensive guy versus Lil Nicky being a defensive guy...I'd take the offense run by Les 10x over the often predictable and sometimes truly snooze-inducing offense under Jimbo and Lil Nicky.

and I would take a Les Miles offense over a Nick Saban offense any day of the week.

The fact that Kentucky is 4-0 and unranked is a travesty.

Umm, Lil' Nicky had ONE dominant defense and that was in '03. The other years, especially in '04, they were average to slightly above average.

Ya know what, this is the exact reason I have given up on reading sites like ESPN, College Football News and the like.

I was just on ESPN and the man-crush-love-fellatio of Nick Saban is nauseating.

If they beat us, then ok. But Les and crew has brought the program to a a new level.

+1

I don't think Forde was taking a shot at Les. Calm down everybody.

Bo Pellini was closer to Saban than Miles
(different style-but still aggressive)
