you're probably right, but you would think that Leslie would have made that part of his answer as well though.
why? his job isn't to educate ignorant fans and reporters
you would think the reporter that covers COLLEGE FOOTBALL would know that.

Miles really couldn't have said what he said any better. Coaches aren't allowed to the summer 7 on 7 player practices, but Miles is very specifically saying here that he knows what's going on.

oh but i thought Les was personally involved in every single facet intentionally mucking up the works and meddling to get everyone to perform poorer.
i can't keep it straight these days. when is Les too involved and when is he too un-involved?? maybe make a chart or venn diagram or something.

Is he still speaking? The youtube clip is only 11min long and there is no way the Les Miles segment was that short?

Anyone who didn't think that Tony would be leading this team from the first snap of the season to the last, was only kidding themselves.

How are you not getting this? Coaches aren't allowed to coach right now. This was textbook Les being a smartass in a very subtle way. It infuriates people who aren't smart enough to pick up on it, aka you.

everyone knows the summer practices that the players do aren't supervised by the coaches. they can't. Les is covering himself. this is an article printed to make Les look stupid. It's pretty deceptive.

this
Joe Paterno while walking home from his office stopped and watched some of his players working out. He didn't speak to any of the players. Penn State had to report that as a secondary violation.

And the sad part is its our own fan base that is doing most of the bashing.

I think He's has to say that. They aren't allowed to supervise the 7-on-7 drills. I'm sure he's seen something, though.
