Is coach Miles the only SEC coach to replace a coach who has won a NC and then win one himself?
Dubose replaced Stallings..no
Perkins replaced Bryant..no
Zook replaced Spurrier..no
Fulmer, thankfully still at UT

That's why I answered with a question mark. I don't follow Miami but I just remember everybody arguing that Miles would be the next Coker.

No-
At Arkansas Broyles won a NC and was followed by Holtz. But neither title came in the SEC
At Bama, Wade was followed by Thomas and they both won NCs.
