If this program doesn't win the BCS 6 of the next 10 years...totally unacceptable.

...sad thing is, people will believe that to be the case!

My friend keeps telling me that LSU will never be successful as long as Les is coaching here!!

I ask him, you mean we will do worse than a national championship and SEC championship and undefeated in Bowls?

It's difficult being an LSU fan these days. Great recruiting, awesome football team, #1 baseball team, improving basketball team, our pets heads are falling off

Not for me. I've never enjoyed it more.

ETA: Yeah, I know it was sarcastic. It does amaze me how some folks let such crazy things worry them. Relax and enjoy the ride, guys.

If you watched the LSU/UK game in 2007 and Arky in 2008 and don't question Leslies coaching ability , I really doubt you have been following the game long . Don't confuse recruiting with coaching .

I don't hear anyone saying he's the best in game coach in the world, but he's the coach that we need.

I've yet to see a coach whose decisions weren't questioned at times, including Les.

I was let down by last year but I'm willing to give him another chance.

I don't have problems with coaches that make mistakes. I have problems with coaches that don't learn from them.

+1

Think about it: Last season aside, have you ever enjoyed watching three years of football like Les' first three years?

What about the 40+ wins? The slaughtering of Miami, Notre Dame, OSU, GT? The beatdown of VT? Explain yourself

Name one coach in the last two years who hasn't been beaten by a less talented team. Name one coach in the last 2 yrs who hasn't been 'outcoached'.

More specifically have you followed any USC football games the last few years?

Or if you watched Carroll lose to Oregon State or Stanford, or UCLA.....

Or watch Saban lose to Arkansas, ULM, UAB, Iowa, Utah....

Or Stoops lose to Boise, WVa,......

Or Meyer lose to Ole Miss....

Ok, you get the picture.

I can't name one in either scenario . What I can tell you is not many coaches would've sat CS in the 2nd half of the UK game after his 1st half performance . I have never coached football on any level but can assure you I would have called a timeout to set up my defense against arky . I damn sure would NOT have attempted a 63 yard FG against the wind .
As far as the wins against tOSU, VaTech, GaTech , Miami .... which of those had superior talent ???
