He always thinks if some plays had worked in the last 5 minutes or last drive of the games the outcome would have been different. He never thinks if he makes adjustments early in the game and go ahead by 2 or 3 scores he doesn't need to worry about what happens in the last drive.

We should not have had to rely on Harris to when that game. If we attacked that team differently and more aggressively, this would not be the mode right now.

Only one of our coaches made halftime adjustments and he is new.

Just heard Mascona quote Crowton after he left saying although it was Crowton scheme, Les liked to shorten the game and win it in the fourth. This explains his whole philosophy and why we have endures so many close wins and late losses over the years. Quote was in Baltimore Herald I believe...

If you shorten the games your talent advantage and better conditioning is not a factor anymore. That is what weaker opponents want.

It worked in the past because we always had great special teams and just beat teams down to have our way in the fourth. With our lackluster o-line, nkn-existant passing game, and absolutely atrocious special teams we lose the field position and TOP battle weekly. What was once successful is no longer and the stubborn old man can't grasp this.
