He isn't going anywhere anytime soon

The buyout terms in his contract are $15 million if he's terminated before the first three years of the deal (Dec. 31, 2015), $12.9 million in years four or five, $8.6 million in year six and $4.3 million in year seven.

If they increase parking fees and concessions I'm sure they can get it done

Didn't say I did, I just wanna win, I'm simply stating in order to oust him, it's gonna cost.

I don't give 2 rats arse about down nor up votes. I'm simply stating he has enormous buyout, and for those who want him out, he isn't going anywhere anytime soon

If you don't want him out why would you go through the trouble to post this info? Damn we just need a QB. Relax!

I am not for firing him, but the antithesis of this might be how much the program loses over those same years for a coach who can't live up to expectations?

Speaking of expectations: they must be spelled out in the contract, and there are more factors to a coach being relieved of a position than just losing some games.

I also wonder sometimes how the Rant/fanbase would have felt had BOTH Jennings and Harris been hurt enough to keep them from playing and LSU having to call on Magee or one of the other former QBs who are available? I think we need to count our blessings.

I posted in a thread similar to this saturday after the game. I am a student at LSU, and I absolutely love this place, but LSU is too cheap to buy out the contract. I think all LSU students can agree with me on that.
