I'm sure it's been discussed here before but I'm curious to know about what Les did between the time he left Michigan as a player in 75 and returned to start his coaching career as a a GA in '80.

He was developing into the aggravating son of a bitch that wins a shite load of football games. And I'm proud as hell that he leads my favorite football team.

He worked in the business world in some management position. Was making decent money for the time but wasn't happy. Took a big pay cut to get into coaching.

He joined in a group of friends called the Wolfpack. And they set out on an adventure, chasing strippers and cocaine.

He coached. Made his way. Don't the way they all do?

It was pretty much like when TJ Miller went on his spiritual journey to find the new name for Pied Piper on Silicon Valley.

He was a weatherman.

Got fired for saying a rain storm was a stiff dew.

Trying to get his book, Leslie Edwin Miles' Rules for Gramar and Syntax, published. Gave up on that and decided to coach football.
