Here's a thought: why can't that 4.5 million dollar paycheck be a reality check for him?

Why work hard and get the team ready to play for 4.5 million dollars when you can binge watch Scrubs on Netflix, lose, and get 15 million?

Hopefully Alleva does not escape this either.

Sometimes it takes a major event like this to give someone a reality check.
If you really believe this, where have you been?

On the day after 1/9/12 - major event - Unbeaten season and NC blown in humiliating fashion before the entire nation.

Last year's near sacking of CLM at the AtM game; averted at the last minute in a piece of luck and good timing second only to winning the NC from 2007 with 2 losses - Big Event.

Loss to Wisconsin despite all the preseason hype, promises to change and other tripe that we were fed in the time in-between last year and now. Nothing has changed; if anything, things have regressed. Major event.

But you think Les has 'em where he wants 'em now, and that he's finally in tune with reality?

Are you? That man is nothing if not totally cemented in whatever course he's determined to follow.

I think Bama was the better team in 2012, personally.

He was always getting another year last year.

This is his absolute last chance and he knows that.

Bro, I admire your optimism. However, I feel Les would rather simply be fired and take the money and run. He will milk this for every penny laughing his way to the bank.

This is the only senario where I can explain, at least in my mind, that he is not a legitimately crazy.

Strap in boys, it's going to be a hell of a ride.

It's been hell for about 8 years...2011 was good and ended so bad, LSU hasn't been the same since

How about the most successful coach in LSU history thought with a few minor changes his philosophy could work... I'm saying now he knows it's not the case and that his whole plan needs to be blown up.

He's been lucky. There is no philosophy.
